Structured data added to site breadcrumbs
Google has started placing more emphasis on website breadcrumbs (which indicate a page's position in the website hierarchy) to allow users to better understand and explore more effectively.
In fact, there is a recent "Breadcrumbs" section in the Google Search Console which shows errors just for breadcrumbs. One "error" that is being enforced is whether or not the breadcrumbs contain schema in the HTML that indicate the hierarchy of the crumbs.
To satisfy this expectation, we've updated the platform to automatically add structured schema to the breadcrumbs. There is nothing further to be done as all nested pages now contain the markup.
