New social media API module
Twitter offers only one widget that can be pasted into a website to display your latest tweets. Unfortunately it's very limited, and if you want anything other than this, you have to develop a back-end system that authenticates with Twitter's API (not an easy task). Gone are the days of freely-available Twitter data feeds.
In order to serve up Tweets for our latest Twitter widget, we had to integrate with Twitter's API. The end-result of the integration is a data feed served up by the platform that can be used by the website widget on the front-end. The new module is the latest addition to our premium productivity tools, with more providers added as needed.
